CAFs are rare malformations that are highly variable.
Contrary to the previous literature, the most common drainage site of CAFs in the present study was pulmonary artery, accounting for 73.5%, followed by right atrium, SVC, right ventricle, left atrium, and left ventricle, which was consistent with some recent studies of Zhou et al ., Abdelmoneim et al ., and Zhang et al ., which showed that CPAF was the most common type of CAFs.[8],[15],[16]
Depending upon morphology, variety of devices are being reported for trans-catheter occlusion of CAFs including coils, ductal occlusion devices, septal occlusion devices, vascular plugs, detachable balloons etc1,3,8,14-16.
