The discussion above draws forth the framework of CMFD that is described in Figure 2.
The target of the CMFD is to find duplicated regions where the similarity index between regions (feature vectors) is less than a certain threshold and the duplicated regions are nonoverlapping.
To meet the first requirement of the CMFD, that is, the matching between nonoverlapping blocks, the shift distance criterion is used.
