Comparison of CSPQ Scores Between Schizotypal- and Nonschizotypal-Personality-Prone Groups
Zhu (2007) has indicated that there are some fixed codes in the CSPQ. Therefore, in the current study, analysis of these codes was another important section.
The CS derived from the ROC showed the cut-off point of the CSPQ should be set at 150.
Although the study might be further improved, results showed the CSPQ was able to detect schizotypal personality proneness efficiently among individuals applying for recruitment to the Chinese police force and might assist in improving psychological tests for Chinese police selection.
Analyzing the personality of people with a higher score on the CSPQ. Unpublished master's thesis, Fourth Military Medical University.
Non-medical prescribing is now being practised by a variety of specialist healthcare professionals and not only by nurses and midwives with a CSPQ. (11) This means that if specialist community practitioners choose not to prescribe, they risk not simply losing part of their specialist knowledge and key skills that define them as professional, but also being left behind in the practice of advanced health care.
The NMC has recently introduced a new recordable qualification (V150) that provides a way for nurses without a CSPQ to undertake a course of study to enable them to prescribe from the NPF.
The final score (standard score) of each individual on the Dis, N, Sen, D, DS, and TC scales was obtained after he had completed the computerized version of the CSPQ and this was transferred from his original score.
This led to the development of the Chinese Soldier Personality Questionnaire (CSPQ) and computer assessment system (Xiao, Miao, Xiao, Wu, & Li, 2007).
In our study, compared with individuals who had been identified as not schizotypal personality prone, individuals who had been identified as being schizotypal personality prone obtained a lower score on scale D but a higher score on scale DS in the CSPQ. Those with a lower score on scale D might intentionally try to cast themselves in an unfavorable light through their responses in an interview, as scale D represents a defensive character, while scale DS represents a difference-seeking character.
Although people may show these symptoms they have not yet reached the clinical diagnosis level, these symptoms can be detected by the CSPQ and the individuals who have these symptoms can be defined as schizotypal personality prone.
However, although the study method can be further improved, our results gave sufficiently higher scores on multiple scales of the CSPQ and we were able to detect schizotypal personality proneness in individuals among the police applicants.
