The CUA Office of Education continued to be at the forefront of urologic education in Canada by creating and sponsoring many educational programs and events this year.
In the aftermath of the recent global recession, continuing changes and challenges in industry funding for CUA initiatives, and ever increasing regulatory oversight of industry collaboration, the CUA has had to become innovative in securing funding for programs.
The CUA is grateful to Andree Belanger, Executive Director, and her team consisting of Tiffany Pizioli, Director of the Office of Education; Nadia Pace, Project Manager; Josephine Sciortino, Editorial Director of CUAJ; and Duong Nguyen, Financial Services/Membership Coordinator for ensuring that all of the functions of the CUA are continued without interruption.
