The vision of
component-based software engineering means development of software systems by composing reusable components.
The discussion of this research paper was to find how total development cost of a software system affected on the basis of
component-based software engineering. The main two factors those were affecting the standardization cost of a component have been explained.
The contributors present new developments in software architecture,
component-based software engineering, data mining, parallel computing, image processing, e-learning, and network security.
Consists of 69 papers from the July 2006 computer conference and ten papers from the workshop on
component-based software engineering. The contributors describe recent developments in parallel and distributed computing, software metrics, communication networks, data mining, image processing, information management systems, and mobile computing.
Fifty-six papers from the September 2005 conference present recent research on
component-based software engineering, multimedia, telecommunications, software process and product improvement, model development engineering, and the next generation of web computing.
In these proceedings of the August 2005 conference, contributors describe their research in
component-based software engineering, software testing techniques, software reuse and metrics, requirements engineering, parallel and distributed computing, design patterns ion software architecture, modeling with UML, information engineering, data mining, knowledge discovery, artificial intelligence, formal methods and tools, communications systems and networks, cost estimation, web-based engineering and applications and case studies.
The new paradigm is argued to provide a meeting point between
component-based software engineering and business prowess management and automation.
