21 November 2012 - Turkish telecommunications group Turk Telekomunikasyon AS (IST:TTKOM.E), or Turk Telekom, has launched a non-binding bid to purchase Bulgarian fellow firm Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile EAD and electronic appliance retailer Germanos Telecom Bulgaria AD.
Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile, doing business as GloBul, and Germanos Telecom Bulgaria are both units of Greece's Cosmote Mobile Telecommunications SA, which is in turn owned by Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation SA (FRA:OTE), or OTE.

19 March 2013 - Greecea[euro](tm)s Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (ATH:HTO), or OTE SA, has pushed back by a month the 18 March deadline for binding bids for its unit Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile EAD, doing business as Globul, Reuters said citing two knowledgeable sources.

Bulgaria's second-biggest mobile operator Globul is the trademark under which Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile EAD offers mobile telecommunications services in Bulgaria.
Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile (Globul) will be fined with BGN 50 000 for the illegally organized "The Big Cash" game and for tax evasion to the tune of BGN 1.3 M, according to a statement of the watchdog.
