) were not available for use by more than two thirds of the postgraduate students under the study.
The digitization of abstracts of Theses and Dissertations of the Obafemi Awolowo University started in 2004 as a part of the Database of African Theses and Dissertations (DATAD), another project being sponsored by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and some other sponsors through the Association of African Universities.
This started when the Obafemi Awolowo University was brought into the DATAD project.
Internet portals include Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture (AGORA), Health Internetwork Access to Research Initiatives (HINARI), Online Access to Research in the Environment (OARE), Database of African Theses and Dissertation (DATAD
), and many offline databases including MEDLINE.
