The encapsulation efficiencies (EE) of AS and AR in DBLs were determined by quantifying ferulic acid and calycosin-7-O-[beta]-D-glucoside identified as the index component of AS and AR, respectively, per the Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2010) using a high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection (HPLC-DAD) method [15].
The original DBL particle size was 175.53 [+ or -] 0.60 nm, with a PDI of 0.28 [+ or -] 0.01.
"For Potomac Hospital, SonicWALL was able to fill the gaps in network security and data protection with affordable, high performance solutions," said Jeff Greenspan of DBLS. "SonicWALL solutions have made a positive impact on the productivity of Potomac's seven-person IT staff and have helped to eliminate a variety of concerns, from wireless access security to content filtering and regulatory compliance."

Benthic microalgae exchange gases with the water column by molecular diffusion through the diffusive boundary layer (DBL) generating steep gradients in dissolved oxygen and pH within a few mm of their growing surface (e.g., Revsbech 1989, Larkum et al.
The development of filamentous diatom films is significant because they may thicken the DBL, generating more extreme conditions at the surface where postlarval abalone reside.
There has been no investigation of whether postlarval abalone have mechanisms to access water from higher in the water column, thereby ameliorating the effects of the DBL. Without such mechanisms, postlarvae may suffer from the extreme oxygen conditions, as documented for 8 12 mm Haliotis rufescens (Elston 1983, Leitman 1992).
The independent variables used in the ANOVA screening were the proportions of Cropland, Upland and Class IV wetland in the General Land Office Section of the capture site; weight; age class; DBL; and the following climatic variables averaged for 7 d before death or the last date tracked: minimum daily temperature, maximum daily temperature, snowfall and snow depth.
No age-class differences in DBL were observed in either 1992-1993 or 1994-1995 (Table 3); however, variation was greater for juvenile DBL in both 1992-1993 (F = 3.5; df 13, 15; P = 0.01) and 1994-1995 (F = 8.0; df 7, 5; P = 0.02).
