In our application, we present the encapsulation in NVs and DNVs of a hydrophilic model drug, a fluorescently tagged bisphosphonate--AF647-zoledronate (AF647-Zol)--with high efficiency, utilizing a modified method of microfluidic synthesis.
The height, amplitude, and phase were obtained for the AF647-Zol DNVs and conventional NVs.
The average round size disclosed for the overall sample is approximately $10.6 million; opportunistic international ventures and strategic international ventures received $2.5 million and $1.2 million less per round, respectively, than DNVs. The average interval between successive rounds for DNVs is shorter than the average round interval for both opportunistic international and strategic international ventures.
Results show that although VCs restrict the amount of funds for ventures with low levels of foreign sales related to opportunistic internationalization, as the intensity of ventures' internationalization increases beyond 10%, VCs may relax their funding restrictions to correspond more to the funding norms of DNVs.
Hypothesis 1: There is no difference in size between international new ventures (INVs) and domestic new ventures (DNVs).
Table 2 presents univariate comparisons of firm and owner attributes of INVs and domestic new ventures (DNVs).
