The DSRT was used to measure knowledge and skills, and the Confidence in Teaching Diabetes Education Scale was used to measure confidence.
The most commonly used instruments in the review were the DBKT and the DSRT. However, studies using these measures inconsistently reported reliability and validity data.
The instruments used included the DBKT and the DSRT. The original DBKT, a 45-item multiple-choice test developed by Drass and colleagues (1989), represents a modification of an earlier measure (Diabetes Knowledge Test developed by Scheiderich, Freibaum, & Peterson, 1983).
The second tool used was the DSRT, also developed by Drass and co-authors (1989), to measure direct-care nurses' perceptions of diabetes knowledge statements.
Nurses choosing to participate were instructed to complete the pre-test, which involved completion of the DKBT and the DSRT. There was no tracking of number of e-mails returned or unopened; no demographic information was collected to provide anonymity and encourage participation.
Speaking to media on the sidelines of the 12th Asia Pacific Telecommunication and ICT Development Forum, the DSRT Director has made these statements.
The DSRT Director has revealed yesterday that the 4G service fees per data unit will be lower than the existing fees for the 3G service.
