"We're particularly proud that we have been able to provide a shop window for Dtoi's fantastic culinary talents" ?
? Dtoi Harvey, owner of Authentic Thai Cuisine, is to launch a brand new chicken satay starter (inset).
To begin with Dtoi, who lives with her engineer husband Graham, cooked her products in her kitchen and donated them to friends, family and community events to gauge feedback.
Dtoi believes her brand's reputation has grown significantly since she first exhibited at Llangollen Food Festival three years ago.
"The festival has been really important to my business," said Dtoi, who has a son, Tom, aged 21 "You have to be known to be a success.
Not only will this increase the firm's production capacity, it will increase the shelf life of its dishes and allow Dtoi to start supplying frozen ready meals.
But ultimately it's all about the taste and Dtoi has detected a growing demand for good quality Thai cuisine that can be heated at home.
The business was launched almost by accident when Dtoi discovered a love of her food among friends.
It has passed all the regulatory hygiene tests and is now where Dtoi spends long hours cooking, and now and again, creating new recipes.
Dtoi's Authentic Thai range now also sells in a handful of other outlets including Loggerheads garage, Cilcain village shop, Londis at Pontblyddyn and Penley, and Hawarden Farm shop.
