With donepezil alone (DZP), free drug release was complete within a very short time (Figure 7).
Curcumin (CUR), Bradford reagent, trichloroacetic acid, and o-phthalaldehyde were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich Chemicals GmbH (Germany), and diazepam (DZP) (10mg/2mL) was purchased from Terapia Ranbaxy, Cluj-Napoca.
The animals in the other 2 groups were given curcumin dissolved in carboxymethylcellulose (CUR + CMC) or carboxymethylcellulose and DZP (DZP + CMC).
Results are expressed as follows: mean [+ or -] SEM; * p < 0.05 as compared with control/curcumin + CMC; and # p <0.05 as compared with DZP + CMC.
An anesthetic and sedative induction protocol was conducted using fish juveniles (7.36 [+ or -] 0.006 g, 9.07 [+ or -] 0.004 cm; n=8) to evaluate potential positive interactions between DZP and DHF.
Animals were placed in aerated experimental aquaria (2 L capacity) with water only (1 L), water plus 42.7 mg/L DZP, water plus DHF at 20 (sedative concentration) and 50 mg/L (anesthetic concentration) or water plus a combination of DZP and DHF.
This relationship was also seen following exposure to a combination of DHF and DZP in all pre-anesthetic stages (Table 1).
En la Figura 1 se observa la comparacion entre los grupos para evaluacion del comportamiento en relacion al numero de movimientos en el modelo de CA, donde se presento una reduccion (p<0,001) de la locomocion en los grupos DZP y DM1-300; disminucion (p<0,05) de la LO en el grupo DM1-450, todos en relacion al grupo control; disminucion (p<0,001) de la locomocion en el grupo DM1300 en relacion al grupo DM1-150.
La Tabla I presenta la reduccion (P<0,001) de la locomocion en los grupos DZP (Diazepam 2 mg/kg) y DM1-300 mg.
Veinticuatro horas despues de la ultima administracion los animales recibieron una dosis de DZP (10 mg/kg ip, Sigma-Aldrich), VGB (500 mg/kg, vo, Sigma-Aldrich) o GBP (100 mg/kg, vo, Sigma-Aldrich).
Los ratones se trataron diariamente durante 8 dias con DZP, VGB o GBP en las dosis indicadas antes.
