In EBMRF, multicast packets are received at a node only once and if any packet arrives repeatedly, then they are discarded by the node itself.
This comparison is given based on multicast algorithms as SMRF, BMRF and proposed EBMRF.
In proposed EBMRF, even with increase in number of nodes the energy consumption is maintained at a constant level.
The variations in delay value of proposed EBMRF algorithm is lesser than SMRF and BMRF algorithm.
In proposed EBMRF as per the increase in number of nodes, the packet delivery ratio is sustained at a constant level.
These limitations are resolved in proposed EBMRF algorithm by using unique ID for multicast packet and selecting an idle channel for transmission.
