As reported in a recent article in MIT Technology Review, EEStor claims its Electrical Energy Storage Units (EESUs) not only will deliver more power, but also will cost less than today's batteries.
As for electrochemical batteries, the EESUs will provide more power per unit volume at half the cost and not use toxic chemicals.
With a 200-mile driving range, the EESUs are expected to need only about 10 minutes to fully recharge.
