The two cities are joining forces for the first time at business travel industry convention EIBTM to promote projects including the pounds 146m Arena and Convention Centre (ACC) Liverpool and the rebranded Manchester Central Convention Complex, formerly G-Mex.
Ian Taylor, commercial director at Marketing Birmingham, said: "This year will be the first time that Birmingham has exhibited independently at EIBTM and will set a standard as one of the first UK cities to have its own independent presence at the exhibition.
