Se localizaron los conductos con explorador DG-16 (Hu-Friedy[R], Rockwell St., Chicago, Estados Unidos) y se realizo una irrigacion inicial con hipoclorito de sodio al 5,25 % (Eufar, Bogota, Colombia), utilizando una jeringa Monoject[R] de aguja calibre 27 Gauges (Kendall, Covidien, MA, Estados Unidos).
Para la irrigacion final, se empleo 1 ml de acido etilendiamino tetracetico (EDTA) al 17 % (Eufar) durante un minuto, irrigando luego con 5 ml de solucion salina, a fin de lograr la correcta neutralizacion del EDTA y la limpieza del conducto.
En el grupo 2 se aplico ge l de fluoruro de sodio al 2% (Fluofar Neutro/ Eufar); las muestras se sumergieron en el gel durante cuatro minutos por dia durante siete dias.
