Equal Justice Works supports the 'What You Can Do for Your Country Act of 2019.' Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) is a critical program that supports the public health, public safety, and public education of communities across our country.
Mette, a 2018 Wayne State University Law School graduate, is the recipient of an
Equal Justice Works Fellowship.
Bozarth also created a fellowship with
Equal Justice Works where she partnered Women in Distress in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with Legal Aid of Broward County to provide holistic advocacy to women and children who were victims of abuse.

Equal Justice Works fellowships focused on community economic development.
He is a member of the first cohort of Native Nation Rebuilders selected by the Bush Foundation in 2010, and he served as an
Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow with South Dakota Access to Justice in 2009.
She continued that focus for the past two years as an
Equal Justice Works Fellow at Legal Voice in Seattle.
With financial support from The Florida Bar Foundation, DeBriere worked at Florida Institutional Legal Services in Newberry on the project she imagined initially as a summer fellow during law school, and after graduation, as an
Equal Justice Works fellow.
"Without alternative means of communication, such as TDD/TTY numbers, the deaf and hearing-impaired are forced to rely on others for critical customer service needs," commented Koert Wehberg, an NYLPI
Equal Justice Works Fellow who was involved with the project.
"These numbers are really troubling," said Amy Reichbach, an
Equal Justice Works fellow with the American Civil Liberties Union.
Many law students who were surveyed by
Equal Justice Works claimed that their need to pay off their law school debts affects their choice of employment options.
Koopersmith also chaired the board of
Equal Justice Works, whose executive director, David Stern, presented her with the award.
