FATCODFrommelt Attitude Toward Care of the Dying Scale
References in periodicals archive ?
FATCOD attitude scores remained essentially unchanged from pretest to posttest for Cohort 1, which included both ADN-BSN and traditional BSN students.
The significant change in the PC-ELNEC and FATCOD across the three cohorts, along with the students' positive comments, indicates that this simulation is robust in promoting positive changes in students' perceived competence and attitudes about caring for dying patients.
Furthermore, the results suggest the FATCOD has adequate internal consistency reliability for use with undergraduate nursing students, a population for whom reliability had not yet been established.
