Fidil is a group led by Ciar[sz]n O Maonaigh, the grandson of fiddle maestro Proinsias O Maonaigh and nephew of Mairad N Mhaonaigh from Altan.
After releasing an album entitled Fidil, they formed a band of the same name with the addition of third fiddler, Damien McGeehan.
The RNLI's Aisling Ni Mhaoinis said: "We are delighted to have musicians of the calibre of Paul Brady, Altan, Fidil
and Carmel, play a gig in aid of Donegal lifeboats."
