The Birdies for Good campaign will be used again to raise funds for FOCP, with US$25 donated through the European Tour Players Foundation for every birdie made during the tournament, $50 for every eagle, and $500 for every albatross or hole in one.
Over US$50,000 was raised at the DP World Tour Championship last year for the official not-for-profit partners of the tournament, including FOCP.
Nick Tarratt, Director of the European Tour - Dubai, is delighted FOCP has renewed its involvement with the event, saying: Raising funds for our partner charities and providing them with a space to raise awareness for their initiative is of significant importance to our tournament.
And Doctor Sawsan Al Madhi, Secretary General of FOCP who works as a volunteer, says every single penny donated is spent on easing the lives of those suffering.
FOCP pays for medical equipment and medication and works for UAE-based cancer patients regardless of race or religion.
I had to go for treatment for two years without the help of FOCP.
In addition, the hotel continues to provide complimentary stay of one family supported by FOCP
Ramada Downtown Dubai's previous activities for FOCP
included complimentary stays for patients and arranging tours of attractions in the Downtown Dubai area.
The solution runs on Samsung Tab II handled by FOCP staff.
