According to Dr Attafuah, the double track system introduced by the government was the most effective way to ensure the implementation of the FSHS
Although their presence has been suspected in the environment for over twenty years, FSHs
in surface waters were first reported by Purdom et al.
According to him the FSHS
programmed has bridged the gap in the education sector but certain impediments should be addressed.
He explained that the Free Senior High School (FSHS
) that has come under the Nana Addo-led administration was built on five pillars: equity, expansion and infrastructure, quality education, access and skills development, and to achieve these fundamental values, it would take some time to establish these grounds before bringing it to a halt.
Apostle Denis Anane Peprah, however, commended the government for initiating good social policies, especially the Free Senior High School (FSHS
) and the double track system, to benefit the Ghanaian public, by ensuring that all children of school-going age, who qualify to be in school, access secondary education.
