It can be also observed that the lowest [E.sub.g] anatase mode near 144 [cm.sup.-1] is shifted to higher wavenumbers in the binary Ti[O.sub.2]/perlite systems (samples FSPB, FSPC, and FSPD) in comparison to the bare Ti[O.sub.2] nanoparticles (reference P25).
In addition, the peaks at 950 [cm.sup.-1] and 1080 [cm.sup.-1] related to the vibrational modes of Si-O-Ti [56] were observed for the samples FSPB, FSPC, and FSPD.
Research carried out by the Stimulant Drinks Committee of the FSPB found that over half of 11-to-35-year-olds questioned had taken energy drinks.
The FSPB also criticised the energy drinks industry for not putting warning limits on the amount that should be consumed.
The drink, along with other stimulants, has been the subject of a Food Safety Promotion Board (FSPB) probe in Ireland since the death of a Limerick student in 1999.
