A total of 200 candidates were selected and recommended by the
FPSC for appointment as Inspectors Customs against the direct recruitment quota vacancies in December 2016.
Therefore, the
FPSC should set paper keeping in mind minority candidates as well.
However, the
FPSC has extended the contracts of 36 employees for six months period.
On the other hand, the size and capacity of the
FPSC has not increased.
The
FPSC was directed to complete its recruitment process within three months.
Secretary
FPSC told the meeting that in 2013 only 11 candidates were affected due to this amendment in the rule and the number of effected candidates in 2014 was 4.
Currently, only two cities, Karachi and Sukkur, have
FPSC test centres.
It seems that the
FPSC does not proof-read the papers through which 'the cream of Pakistan' is recruited.
FPSC recommended 281 candidates for appointment, 170 of them were male and 111 were female.
This time they were preparing for the selling of CSS exam question papers but timely action of FIA has saved the credibility of
FPSC and time of CSS applicants, said an investigator seeking anonymity.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahnawaz Mirani demanded establishment of
FPSC's regional centre in Hyderabad division, giving full quota of Sindh, i.e., 19% in CSS exam and provision of carbon copies of answer sheets to candidates appearing in objective type papers.
With four candidates, namely Naveed Ahmed Khokhar from Sindh, Ibrar Saleem and Bilal Nadeem from Punjab and Salman Khattak from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), being hired against the positions, sources said that
FPSC had not adopted the due procedure.
