The imported layers of wetlands in Global mapper were imposed on the ASTER GDEM V2 worldwide elevation data (1 Arc second resolution) to get three-dimensional measurements of the water bodies.

Excluded layers were produced using GDEM, an ecoenvironmental conservation value assessment map (ECVAM), water bodies, the greenbelt zone, and the zone eliminated from the greenbelt.
A digital elevation model (DEM) was constructed using GIS software and information obtained from ASTER GDEM V2 (NASA, 2011).
Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data were acquired from the Japanese-American satellite ASTER GDEM. The used DEM is validated by the provider and ASTER GDEM is highly accurate DEM covering all the land on earth with 30 m spatial resolution.
This cartographic database comprised a 30m horizontal resolution ASTER GDEM digital elevation model (DEM) (ABRAMS et al., 1999), and vector layers of the soil map and stream network.
