Surat (Gujarat) [India], Jul 30 ( ANI ): The export of cut and polished diamond has increased by 8.9 percent in July as compared to the same month a year earlier, as per Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) data.
The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is the apex body of the gems and jewellery industry, set up by the Ministry of Commerce, and it represents about 6,000 exporters in the sector.

But the country shipped $992.03 million worth of gold jewellery in March, up 6.1 per cent year-on-year, the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) said.
