The Geodynamic Network of the Academy of Sciences (GEONAS) of the Czech Republic was established in order to make regular geophysical and geodetic observations for current geodynamic studies of the Bohemian Massif and adjacent Central European geological structures.
The field session consisting of the following stops was included into the programme: the astronomical observatory, the seismological station UPC of the Czech Regional Seismic Network and the GPS permanent station UPIC of the Geodynamic Network of the Academy of Sciences GEONAS in Upice; the Hronov-Porici tectonic fault zone (the outcrop near Male Svatonovice); the Adrspach-Teplice sandstone landscape; the Benedictine monastery in Broumov and the World War II Dobrosov fortress.
