Moreover, co-delivery of mouse Fc-fused IL-7 (IL-7-mFc) with a vaccine enhanced the generation of germinal center B cells as well as Tfh cells but not of other lineages ofT helper cells, including Th1, Th2, and Th17 cells (6).
It has been reported that ICOS signaling can stimulate Tfh cells to produce IL-10, which has been implicated (at high-levels) in the terminal differentiation of germinal center B cells into plasma cells (19).

(4) One subgroup, termed germinal center B-cell-like (GCB) type, expresses genes characteristic of normal germinal center B cells. A second group, designated activated B-cell-like type, expresses genes characteristic of activated peripheral blood B cells and plasma cells.
BCL-6 is a transcription factor highly expressed in germinal center B cells but not in pregerminal B-cells, postgerminal memory cells, or plasma cells.
The germinal center B cells were positive in a cytoplasmic pattern in the dark zone.
