HBRG particularly wants to monitor the spread of the Saxon wasp which was first found in Britain in Surrey in 1987 and is known to have arrived in Sutherland.
Its arrival and spread in Highland went largely unnoticed until 2018, so now HBRG wants to find out just where it has managed to settle, and to get up-to-date information on the status of the other five species which have been here for a long time.
