The pan-Arab daily ASHARQ AL AWSAT cited activist, Omar Hibal, as saying during a phone conversation with the newspaper from London that Hama's people "are not afraid of fire anymore." He added that when the security forces "kill one protester they get attacked by tens of thousands." The daily said that some activists have expressed their surprise over the bombing which targeted the Justice Palace in Hama.
