Fellow in 2007.
As part of the PWM initiatives, the HKSI last month signed an agreement with the Swiss-based Association of International Wealth Management (AIWM) that allows the HKSI to offer the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) Programme.
The HKSI said it will be the first organisation in Asia to offer the CIWM Final Examination and its preparatory courses for professionals who are working in or are interested in joining the PWM industry.
I am sure with the wonderful facilities at the redeveloped HKSI
and the Hong Kong Velodrome, and the leadership at the SF&OC (Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong), the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled, the Hong Kong Sports Institute and the various NSAs (National Sports Associations), Hong Kong athletes will be able to scale newer heights not only in the coming Rio Olympics but also for many years to come.
In addition to her strong background in asset management and administration in many jurisdictions, Mrs Chan has direct experience in education, membership, and public service operations from her tenure as Executive Director of the Asia Society Hong Kong Center prior to joining the HKSI.
Mrs Chan will work alongside the Board of the HKSI to further develop the examination, training, events, and membership arms of the Institute, and to raise the standard of professional competency in the financial industry.
Chairman of the HKSI, Mr Anthony Muh, commented, “We are pleased to join hands with AIWM and AZEK to offer these scholarships for PWM professionals in Hong Kong.
Mr SF Wong, Chief Executive of the HKSI, added, “HKSI started offering annual scholarships to university students from 2004.
Apart from the monthly member gatherings, Associate or Affiliate Members can also attend selected member-only activities, professional training and events with a discount, and enjoy free access to HKSI e-seminars and bookstore discounts.

HKSI Honorary Fellowships are awarded to distinguished individuals who have made contributions to the development of the Hong Kong securities and financial services industry.
