Northwest Airlines has formed a new strategic alliance with Hotel Reservations Network (
HRN) that involves the carrier expanding its web site (http://www.nwa.com) to provide discount accommodation from
HRN via a link to a co-branded web page that uses the reservations company's booking engine.
The transaction is expected to close in June and
HRN will become an operating unit of USAi, with founders Robert Diener and David Litman remaining president and CEO, respectively.
Graduating alongside 30 service technicians from across the UK, 20-year-old Martyn, who works with
HRN Tractors Ltd, Insch, was one of two runners-up as John Deere Apprentice of the Year.
