agreed last month to exchange about $80 million in shares and $10 million in royalties for all of the gold assets of its controlling shareholder, Noranda Inc.

Inc., which is 50.8-per-cent owned by Noranda Inc.
According to Frank Grebenc, mine manager of Hemlo Gold Mines
Inc., the Golden Giant Mine is producing an average of 2,800 tons of ore per day grading at 12.5 grams per ton.
