The only cover of the night rocked and that was the Lennon-McCartney song "Hey Bulldog."
Hey Bulldog are a classic power trio delivering a massive sound - reverb soaked and ambitious, they play with a swagger that should take them to far bigger venues.
But if you stay for the duration of the evening, expect such Lennon (and Beatles) favorites as "Because," "Cold Turkey," "Dear Prudence," "Dig a Pony," "Don't Let Me Down," "Hey Bulldog," "If I Fell," "I'm Only Sleeping," "In My Life," "Imagine," "Instant Karma," "Ticket to Ride," "Mind Games," "Mother," "Woman," "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)," "#9 Dream," "One After 909," "Oh Yoko!" "Norwegian Wood," "Tomorrow Never Knows," and "You Got to Hide Your Love Away."
JACK JOHNSON YOU AND YOUR HEART Surf dude digs the acoustic guitar out and works up something that doesn't sound unlike The Beatles' Hey Bulldog. Check the video for his hilarious lip-synching while surfing.
He said 'you're playing Sergeant Pepper' and he'd only ever played them once when he went into the studio, they never toured them..." While the Bootlegs' set always follows John, Paul, George and Ringo from their Cavern and mop-top days through to the famous rooftop concert at Apple HQ, the foursome are constantly tweaking the setlist - the likes of Hey Bulldog, I Am The Walrus and Nowhere Man all set to make rare appearances at the NIA gig.

"We included Hey Bulldog from Yellow Submarine in our set recently and kids were coming up to us saying: 'What a great song, what a fantastic riff.' They're eager to find out more about the original band."
Some songs had been released before including the title track, while others such as Only A Northern Song and Hey Bulldog were heard for the first time.
There was All Together Now, It's All Too Much, Baby You're a Rich Man (which made its first appearance as the B-side to the All You Need Is Love single), Only A Northern Song, a Harrison song originally recorded during sessions for Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Hey Bulldog, a John Lennon piano echoing of Lady Madonna.
Ian struggles to choose just one track: "Number one is Strawberry Fields Forever, number two Things We Said Today, number three You've got ToHide Your Love Away - I played that when I supported Brian Wilson - number four is Hey Bulldog, number five is The Things We Said Today," he says "I'm sure if you asked me again in five minutes I'd give you another five ..."
On the other end of the spectrum, tap dancers wearing rainboots and minidresses start their bit unaccompanied as the drums off "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?" marry the horn and then piano of "Lady Madonna." "Madonna" plays nearly in full as the guitar solo from "Hey Bulldog" helps close out the tune.
