With more than three decades of experience serving Woodward, Oklahoma, and in an effort to address the growing demand for a skilled workforce, High Plains Technology Center (HPTC) partnered with the seven communities it serves to implement a middle school technical applications program (TAP) that mirrors programs offered at the technology center.
The TAP Program at High Plains Technology Center is the result of a cooperative effort with partner schools in the district, as well as community leaders, parents and students.
At High Plains Technology Center, we stress the importance of time management, punctuality and pride in one's work.
Curt Hippensteel, UACCM director of community outreach, completed the training program at the
High Plains Technology Center in Oklahoma and is ready to implement one in Morrilton.
The scholarship will assist students at Panhandle State as well as
High Plains Technology Center pursuing wind technology degrees through the Pathways to Success program.
A fast-track wind technician training program was first developed in 2009 at
High Plains Technology Center in Woodward, Oklahoma.
