Robinson educators planned a variety of activities that visitors would rotate through, including a half-hour planetarium show focused on the relationship between the Earth and the Moon, a half-hour presentation on lunar samples with a member of the Civil Air Patrol, a brief viewing of the Moon through telescopes provided by the Howard Astronomical League (the local astronomy club), and a "Moon hike" with a focus on Moon myths and stories from cultures around the world.
At the conclusion of the program, a representative from the Howard Astronomical League showed participants his personal collection of meteorites.
