Still fueled by the ideas of Founder Bill Wadsworth, who gave birth to the NBEF concept in the late '60s, the NBEF administers and manages the universally accepted .International Bowhunter Education Program (IBEP
) and a faculty of volunteer instructors.

National Bowhunter Education Foundation Board member Gary Brunberg, from Nebraska, has been teaching the Foundation's International Bowhunter Education Program (IBEP) for about 15 years.
"They say the course would have saved them the frustration of learning from trial and error." Gary has heard this so many times over the years that he's convinced the IBEP is the ultimate bowhunting curriculum, and is the key to protecting the future of our beloved bowhunting lifestyle.
Its Board of Directors oversees the development and implementation of the International Bowhunter Education Program (IBEP).
