Since opening its doors in 2009, ICATS has become a formidable industry player, with graduates landing careers in both local and international airlines such as Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Zest Air, Air Phil Express, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Oman Air, Nas Air (a sister company of Saudi Arabian Airlines), Yemenia Airways and Air Asia.
ICATS also helps graduates in their transition from student to professional airline personnel.
One such important initiative that made 2013 a great year of accomplishments for ICATS is its innovative way of imparting real-life learning via its newly built Airbus 320 airplane cabin simulator.
Another addition is the ICATS Gold Program, which aims to make ICATS Standard Program more accessible to working professionals who would like to pursue a career as a flight attendant.
However, with the advances being made by the ICATS
training board, it has finally been possible to give this comfort.
Netcare already runs a surgical treatment centre in Greater Manchester and has been selected as preferred bidder for part of the ICATS
scheme there, leading to a possible conflict of interest.
