For the identification of the encroachments and constructions established on the right of way of the
IJP Road, demarcation in the area was conducted by relevant formation of the authority.
The practice can more frequently be observed by the trucks carrying aggregate and sand at the
IJP Road which don't care even for human life.

The encroachments were not only hindering pedestrian movement but also disturbing the smooth traffic flow on the
IJP Road which is one of the main arteries of the city.

IJP road was totally blocked on one side from Pir Wadhai to Faizabad as the traffic police stopped the traffic from crossing the Faizabad flyover for security reasons.Liaquat Jadoon, a passenger in a Taxi said he wanted to reach Holy Family hospital but could not due to the traffic jam.
