Working with the International Standards Organisation, Intergraf
and NASPO on standards for authentication solutions, security print and foil management and now tax stamps is also a important achievement, in that it ensures the use of holograms are built in to these standards.
At the Intergraf
conference in Nice in October 2007, GEN3[R] was introduced a foil with a three-way security combination of colour shift (from ColourSwitch), 2D/3D holographic images and selective metallisation.
Zero.zero was launched at the Intergraf
security printing conference in Rhodes, with one example of Its design integration capabilities being demonstrated in the version of the STRAP (Systeme Transfert AntiPhotocopie) feature.
Carrying out a pre-origination check on a hologram register and registration of holograms onto a register is now required by Intergraf
and NASPO, the two leading organisations globally for ISO 14298 certification.
Following the launch of the new HoloTrust[TM] e-beam originated patch last year at Secure Document World (SDW), API Holographies launched a demetallised stripe version at last month's Intergraf
conference in Copenhagen.
Lastly, I'd like to comment on the recent Intergraf
conference, which was both informative and interesting.
Also, the IHMA allows approved nonmembers to register holograms in the HIR, which follows an agreement from Intergraf
and NASPO (the North American Security Products Organization).
The company is certified to ISO 9000 and Intergraf
's CWA as a security printer and security hologram producer, and proudly told Holography News[R] that it will shortly be certified under ISO 14298 (management of security printing processes).
Later in the year the same will be true at events covering packaging (PackExpo), labels (LabelExpo Europe) and additional secured document coverage at the Asian High Security Printing conference, the Security Document Summit and Intergraf
's International Security Printers' Conference.
