began their CPFS donation drive in April 2014 in honor of its 40th anniversary and in the spirit of the credit union way of being, “not for profit, not for charity, but for service.” InTouch Credit Union was founded by the employees of Electronic Data Systems in 1974; the then namedEDS Credit Union has grown immensely in the 40 years since then, now one of the largest credit unions in the country by asset size.
has chosen to honor both their members and the community's 40 years of service in the spirit of “people helping people,” by offering to match donations made at their branches , with a $1 donation per cell phone and an equal dollar match of any monetary donations, up to $40,000.
