14 July 2016 - UK-based power systems manufacturer Rolls-Royce Holdings plc will purchase the outstanding 53.1% shareholding in Spanish engineering and construction group Sener Grupo de Ingenieria SA's Industria de Turbo Propulsores SA unit, the company said.
In corporate news Rolls-Royce has decided to purchase the outstanding 53.1% stake in Industria de Turbo Propulsores, a global company which designs and manufactures aero engine components for a range of customers.
The TP400-D6 is being developed and built by EuroProp International, a joint venture between Rolls-Royce, Snecma Moteurs, MTU Aero Engines and Industria de Turbo Propulsores. There's no doubting that the engine is state of the art.
Eurojet, the consortium developing the aircraft's engine, comprises Rolls-Royce, with 36 per cent; DASA with 30 per cent; FiatAvio with 20 per cent and Spain's Industria de Turbo Propulsores with 14 per cent.

5 March 2015 - UK-based jet engine maker Rolls-Royce has bolstered its long-term partnership with Spanish aerospace group Sener Grupo de Ingenieria SA (Sener) in the Industria de Turbo Propulsores SA joint venture, the company said on Thursday.
Eurojet, the consortium which is developing the aircraft's engine, is made up of Rolls-Royce with 36 per cent, DASA unit MTU with 30 per cent, Italy's FiatAvio with 20 per cent, and Spain's Industria de Turbo Propulsores with 14 per cent.
Rolls-Royce Holdings plc announces that it will purchase the outstanding 53.1% shareholding in Industria de Turbo Propulsores SA ("ITP") owned by SENER Grupo de Ingeniera SA ("SENER").
In a statement, the EC noted it had concerns that the proposed transaction would provide GE with significant influence in European consortium Eurojet Turbo GmbH, which comprises Avio, the UK's Rolls-Royce Holding Plc (LON:RR), Germany's Aero Engines AG (ETR:MTX) and Spain's Industria de Turbo Propulsores SA (ITP).
Yesterdays engine contract was won by a consortium including Rolls-Royce, Daimler Benz Aerospace, Italys FiatAvio and Spains Industria de Turbo Propulsores, which will build around 1,500 Eurojet EJ200 engines for 620 Eurofighter 2000 aircraft.
