Papers from a November 2007 conference concentrate on challenges and initiatives that pertain to web intelligence and intelligent agent technology.
With the Air Force and the Department of Defense relying more on modeling and simulation technology for a variety of applications--including acquisition, testing, training, wargaming, mission rehearsal, and operational representation of the battlespace--the development of advanced intelligent agent technology will satisfy critical technological voids in these simulations by providing realistic representations of human cognition as well as advanced agent technology to enhance the effective utilization of military information systems.
The papers of this proceedings were first presented at the IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Intelligent Agent Technology, held in November 2007, in Silicon Valley, Calif.
The leading-edge developers already have impressive examples of Intelligent Agent technology.
These proceedings from the December 2006 conference include invited papers, regular papers and short papers examining the design principles and performance characteristics of various approaches to intelligent agent technology, the goal being to increase the cross-fertilization of ideas on the development of autonomous agent and multi-agent systems among different domains.
This proceedings from the International Conference on Web Intelligence and Intelligent Agent Technology (Hong Kong, 2006) comprises 176 papers.
A September 2005 conference brought together researchers and practitioners from computer science, information technology, business, education, human factors, and systems engineering to examine the design principles and performance characteristics of various approaches in intelligent agent technology and to increase the cross- fertilization of ideas on the development of autonomous agents and multi-agent systems among different domains.
