THE New Zealand bloodstock industry has received a major boost with the announcement that dual Derby winner Generous has been purchased by Glenmorgan Farm from the Japan Bloodhorse Breeders' Association (JBBA).
The 13-year-old son of Caerleon has been shuttling to Glenmorgan Farm for the last two Southern Hemisphere seasons, and the stud was selected in a 30-member vote by the JBBA as the preferred buyer ahead of several European alternatives.
