The initial brainstorming session between three young adult librarians from Kansas City; Missouri Public Library (KCPL); and Johnson County, Kansas Public Library (JCL) centered around making our local teen voices heard by the BFYA committee.
Online event hosting and RSVP management was provided by JCL. Staff at both library systems spread the word to teens in their areas and KCPL provided transportation for teens to the event.
