In collaboration with the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the Cancer Institute of the Japan Foundation for Cancer Research (JFCR), NEC has encapsulated cisplatin, a kind of antitmor agent, into carbon nanohorns.
Going forward, NEC, the JST and the JFCR will proceed with research with the aim of contributing to the development of a drug delivery system.
The contracts were received by Gazoline Sverige, Aberg & Co, Publicis Stockholm, D'Arcy, Total Communication AB, Audumbla Pilots, Engstrom (med flera) and JFCR. No financial details have been provided.
