The 6,000-member JPST

Among the responsibilities of the JPST
are: tracking and documenting private armed groups and other armed groups; helping reduce and control loose or undocumented weapons; supporting the observance of the ceasefire agreement; working on security arrangements for peace process-connected personalities and events; and supporting dispute resolution initiatives on the ground.
Ferrer said the JPST
training has been remarkable for its focus on team-building.
