Production plan at JSC EmbaMunaiGas (EMG) remains unchanged and is expected to be 2,800 thousand tonnes (56 kbopd).
Good news is that the production outlook on this year's major underachiever, Uzenmunaigas, has been cut again with expected annual production in UMG in 2012 to be 4.9 million tonnes (99 kbopd).
Ozenmunaigas JSC (OMG) production increased by 3% to 1,339 thousand tonnes (110 kbopd) in comparison to the same period of 2014.
Before the announcement, the production forecast of UMG had been cut two times, with the previous projection standing at 5.0 million tonnes (101 kbopd).
(PKI) in 2015 remained unchanged compared to the earlier approved budget and is expected to be 1.5 million tonnes (32 kbopd), 1.1 million tonnes (19 kbopd) and 1.4 million tonnes (31 kbopd), respectively.
It is now assumed that UMG will produce about 5 000K tonnes in 2012 (101 kbopd), which is 14% less than the original 5 800K tonnes guidance, and a second downward revision in less than a month.
The overall production in 2014 was 12.3 million tonnes (250 kbopd) of crude oil, including the Company's share in Kazgermunai, CCEL and PKI.
COMMENT: With total output from core units at Uzenmunaigas and Embamunaigas (1,911 thousand tonnes of oil (156 kbopd)) trailing the planned quarterly production by around 7%, KMG EP's core asset production is likely to be behind the overall 2012 guidance as well.
The overall production in 2013 was 12.4 million tonnes (an average of 251 kbopd) of crude oil, including the Company's share in Kazgermunai, CCEL and PKI.
