The KWJA in a statement issued in Srinagar said the harassment of journalists has become a routine in occupied Kashmir.
ISLAMABAD -- In Indian occupied Kashmir, the Kashmir Working Journalist Association (KWJA) and Kashmir Journalist Association have taken strong note of the summoning of a Srinagar-based journalist Aaqib Javed by the India's National Investigative Agency (NIA) to New Delhi for questioning, terming it as intimidation and harassment of Kashmiri journalist.
On the other hand, the Kashmir Working Journalists Association (KWJA) in a statement also condemned the continued illegal detention of Kamran Yousuf, saying that he is being victimized only for carrying out his professional duties that somehow embarrassed the puppet authorities.
