The Bluetooth software from Stonestreet One, Bluetopia, is a full-featured protocol stack including the HCI (Host Controller Interface), L2CAP
(Logical Link and Adaptation Protocol), SDP (Service Discovery Protocol), RFCOMM (Radio Frequency Serial Communications Port Emulator) and OBEX (Object Exchange) functionality.
To connect devices in standard Bluetooth, the master device has to synchronize to a slave device by paging a specific device using up to 32 frequencies, it then issues FHS (frequency hopping spectrum) packets, then it polls the slave, before negotiating connections at both the Link Manager and L2CAP
layers - all of this essential connection process takes place before actually sending data.
E[acute accent]The core protocol stack functionality includes support for HCI, L2CAP
, RFCOMM, OBEX, and the Service Discovery, Serial Port, Generic Object Exchange, File Transfer, Object Push, and Dial Up Networking profiles.

simulates a complete JABWT environment without Bluetooth hardware or stacks - runs actual application code in simulated mode - is 100% Java - supports J2SE and J2ME applications for Windows and Linux - provides full support for L2CAP
, RFCOMM, SDP and OBEX - provides a management console for tracking and controlling the run-time behaviour of devices and networks - allows users to create and configure virtual devices using the management console - includes BCC functionality
simulates a complete JABWT environment without Bluetooth hardware or stacks - is 100% Java and works with any standard J2SE platform - works with any J2ME platform (available in two weeks time) - runs actual application code in simulated mode - provides full support for L2CAP
, RFCOMM, SDP and OBEX
Baseband, LMP, L2CAP
, and the Link Manager (using the host controller interface (HCI)).
The reference design board is a complete hardware and software solution that includes Oki's Bluetooth BQB certified module (with antenna) and Adamya's C-Blue software stack, which provides support to HCI, L2CAP
, RFCOMM, SDP, and TCS protocols and the embedded application with drivers.
