Homes continue to sell at a rate of six to nine per month, and LCARA Executive Director Harvey Albond, who argues that the government acquired many more houses than it needed to, hopes to have the rest of them sold by Christmas this year.
LCARA is a valuable agency that contracts with nearly all of the cities in Lane County, including Eugene and Springfield, to provide most of the animal services that are currently available.
LCARA employs highly trained animal control officers who can answer the call and rush to the scene when an animal is threatening or biting, when abused animals are discovered, when a frightened animal is roaming the neighborhood, or when an injured animal is found in the road.

LCARA for over a month," said Mike Wellington, the agency's manager.
The animal control officer responded and transported the dog to
LCARA.
The event, which features a raffle and free snacks, marks the one-year anniversary of the
LCARA and PetSmart partnership.
